Lobuche East Summit Climb Add-On
Extend Your Adventure Beyond Everest Base Camp
Extend your Everest Base Camp Trek & Stay with a summit climb of Lobuche East (6,119 m / 20,075 ft), one of Nepal's most rewarding trekking peaks. This extension adds a true Himalayan mountaineering objective to your journey, combining high-altitude trekking with technical skills, glacier travel, and one of the best summit views in the Himalaya.
Trekkers considering Lobuche East should have prior experience using crampons, an ice axe, and a climbing harness. A skills refresher at Lobuche Base Camp provides an opportunity to review essential techniques before the ascent. If you're unsure whether your experience meets the requirements, our team can help assess your readiness and recommend additional training where needed.
3 Day | 2 Night Lobuche East Summit Climb
Rising above the Khumbu Valley, Lobuche East (6,119 m / 20,075 ft) offers one of the most spectacular summit panoramas in the Himalaya, with views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Pumori, Ama Dablam, and Cho Oyu.
Your climbing extension begins on Day 11 after the team treks to Lobuche Base Camp. Over the following days, you'll acclimatize, review essential mountaineering techniques, and move progressively higher in preparation for your summit attempt. The summit climb involves technical terrain, including steep snow and ice, crampon travel, and fixed-line climbing, with support from CTSS's experienced Himalayan climbing guides.
Following your summit, you will descend to Lobuche Base Camp before continuing to Everest Base Camp for two nights, with time to explore and experience life at the foot of the world's highest mountain.
This add-on is available for Everest Base Camp trekkers with strong fitness and foundational mountaineering skills.
