The Final Team of the Season Arrives at Everest Base Camp

The final Rugged Luxury team of the 2026 spring season arrived at Everest Base Camp this weekend, and they arrived in true Rugged Luxury style.

Before stepping onto the Khumbu Glacier, the team had already caught the best view in the Khumbu. The days prior at Lobuche Base Camp included a summit of Awi Peak (17,208 ft / 5,245 m), a true mountaineering objective, away from the main trail and the crowds, with panoramic views stretching across Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori. It is one of the features that sets our Everest Base Camp program apart.

Once the team arrived at Everest Base Camp, they were greeted with a gorgeous snack spread, champage, and smiles all around from the climbers and guides already at Everest Base Camp. You can't get access like this unless you are associated with a real Everest climbing team, and lucky for all of our trekkers, we make that happen.

The team will spend two nights in the Everest Executive Domes beneath the icefall follow, with a barista-made cappuccino, chef-prepared meals, and an ice climbing clinic on the same glacier the world's greatest summiteers train on.
